Spiritual Direction
As a spiritual director, I welcome all, but work primarily with women over 50 who wish to focus on the challenges and opportunities that often arise at this stage of life.
How I work.
I hold open a safe, welcoming, non-judgmental space in which you can share what’s going on for you, discuss any current concerns in the context of your spirituality, and learn how to cultivate greater spiritual consciousness and connection with Spirit.
I listen. I occasionally ask questions in a manner designed to stimulate fruitful new thinking. I can suggest helpful spiritual practices or resources if you wish; but I never tell you what to believe, how to feel, or what to do in any given situation.
That last point bears emphasizing. Spiritual direction is not psychotherapy, counseling, or consulting and is never a substitute for advice rendered by medical, legal, or financial professionals.

Where and how often do we meet?
I meet with directees both in my home, in Raleigh, NC, and virtually through FaceTime or Google Meet. How often we meet is up to you. Traditionally, people come for spiritual direction once a month. If you are struggling with a particular issue, however, you may elect to come more often for a while until you are comfortable with less frequent visits.
How much does it cost?
I work on a sliding scale of $75 to $95 per hourly session, payable by check, your bank's auto-pay system, or Zelle transfer. The initial consultation is free, of course, and without obligation.
Cancellations.
If you need to cancel a scheduled session, please let me know by phone, email, or text at least 24 hours in advance.
